I need that book.

Two Loves

My contribution to PJO Ship Weeks, Week 1. Rather than pick between Paul and Poseidon, I went ahead and did both.

Summary: "Sally Jackson experienced two loves, two completely different, distinct types of love. And even though sometimes love hurt, Sally Jackson wouldn’t change a thing."

Pairings: Sally/Paul and Sally/Poseidon

Hello, is this the fire department? Yes, I wanted to inform you that I think there might be a fire, I just saw a fire truck go by.

I don’t think I’m ever going to get over the fact that the color orange was named after the fruit orange.

The Staff of Serapis had some major hints that have led to some huge conclusions being drawn.

For one thing, it is now evident that this series of short crossovers takes place after The Heroes of Olympus series, because

  • Annabeth mentions not having her dagger
  • Annabeth mentions her baseball cap and the loss of magic for a period of time
  • Annabeth mentions Frank
  • Annabeth mentions the Argo II

Which means two things:

  1. Gaea is defeated (not that anyone was doubting that anyway).
  2. Percy and Annabeth survive.

Now, most of you are probably already celebrating because Percabeth lives yaaaaaay! but that doesn’t mean we’re clear of deaths.

I do think, however, that Frank will not be the one to die, because Annabeth mentions him without the slightest hint of sadness or anger or any other feelings she would feel after his death.

Also let’s be honest, Frank is the most vulnerable his dying is way to easy

What else did we learn from this sequel to The Son of Sobek?

Well we learned that Annabeth and Sadie make a hell of a team.

And we unraveled a much larger plot involving Setne.

I don’t think we’re getting an actual series with long books or anything, but we’re definitely getting more from this plot.

I expect a series of similar short stories, possibly with different characters meeting, as Setne continues to “test” them, possibly culminating in one grand short story were Setne goes down.

The Fault in Our Stars.

How do I even describe this movie?

That’s the only way I can think…

EVERY SINGLE ACTOR  FROM THE PARENTS TO THE DOUCHEY AUTHOR WERE PERFECT FOR THE ROLES!!! THIS VERY RARELY HAPPENS BE EXCITED!!!

And the movie was SO TRUE to the book. There were direct quotes!

Like the movie actually captured the book and for that

The attention to detail was perfect.

The movie was perfect.

And in the end you’re left like:
